- Overview
An API for retrieving geographic information (grid reference, latitude and longitude) relating to postcodes. Data is available as XML or JSON. Data Accuracy and Usage
I am very interested in using this API for a project I am working on to map the location of all the traditional bingo clubs in the UK for ballsupbingo, However, I have tried a search on my own postcode as most people probably do and the accuracy of the pointer is way out - almost half a mile in my case. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the accuracy compared with say the Google Geocoding API. My other issue is that it seems a lot of parties are very concerned about using their services for commercial websites - is this the case with Geopostcode as all of the websites that I work with are commercial sites.
