Title

Population dynamics of evolving bacterial populations in liquid media, 2020

Abstract

This data was collected from co-evolving bacterial populations containing Pseudomonas fluorescens strain SBW25 and a plasmid, pQBR57. The composition of the community was tracked using flow cytometry to distinguish 1) an unlabelled wild type strain 2) a dTomato compensated host (SBW25 KO PFLU4242), and 3) a wild type host bearing a Green fluorescent protein (GFP) labelled compensated plasmid (pQBR57 KO 0059). Lineage

Flow cytometry data was filtered to remove background noise (using thresholds in forward scatter (FSC-H), side scatter (SSC-H) and blue signal (PB450-H) channels), then all events were classified by fluorescence (flow_data.txt) to provide a community composition for each sample recorded as population fractions (fraction_data.txt).
